Wednesday 1st September 2010 marked the launch of Digital Invoicing version 2 bringing to an end 6 months' of research and interface design and development, and a lot of hard work.We've spent a lot of time listening to the views and ideas of our existing users, as well as the opinions of people who have just trialled the system. We always found the same thing - "We like Digital Invoicing - it does the job really well, but to be honest, it doesn't look that great".
We felt the same thing, and one of the key aims of the version 2 release was to dramatically improve the 'look and feel' of the system - whilst at the same time making it even easier to understand and quicker to use.
We think we've managed it. Certainly the feedback we've has so far has been very positive - this coupled with the fact that there have been no dramatic changes to the level of support requests is very encouraging.
It's not stopping here though - now version 2 is "out of the bag", we can start feeding in some of the fantastic new features which we've got planned. More news on this soon.
